The Ponytails have costume changes , mini-skirts, go-go boots ,platform shoes,you never
know what they'll be wearing next. and some fun choreography . The backup band
features talented musician/singers The Ponytails group was formed by Noela Starr
as a “ 50's & 60’s Girl Group review” performing mostly in New York City Night Clubs
the group soon became a favorite opening act for
and performed with such groups as Vito Picone (The Eligants) Joey Dee & the Starliters
TheTeenagersThe Dupree's, The Brooklyn Bridge, The Crystal's, The Toys
, The Belmont's The Regants, and too many more to mention from Doo-Wop to Disco , even a
touch of the early 80's
